About
Jumpstart has beautifully crafted classrooms. Offering a variety of enriching materials throughout our spacious layout. Each item helps support an aspect of each child’s development. Creating a match between the child’s natural interests and the available activities we can provide for them.
While still providing some aspects from the traditional circle time. From engaging lessons, calendar, story time, music and movement. Our child led-learning classes enables children to choose and guide their own learning. Helping them to develop a broader range of topics that children are genuinely interested in.
I believe to help a child truly learn, leading by example comes first. By giving them hands on experience. I’m helping children to develop the tools they need to truly thrive through these foundational years.
We currently provide almost four hour sessions five days a week. Each of the two classes provided through our natural setting indoors and outdoors. Helps to educate with hands-on and encourages plenty of play and collaborative activities with the other kids in the class.
Although we put a age per each class, that does not define the level of where your child is at. You and I as a team, sit down together to collaborate. As I get to know your young one through our initial meet and greet. We as a team build from there, from what we beleive would be the best fit for your child's needs.
It is our is number one priority to individualize each child’s learning goals and outcomes. We take great pride in supporting each child through this fun and exciting journey of education!
Throughout each class we provide mixed-age classrooms, teaching children how to work together. By learning from each other as they master life skills. We believe in teaching each child to be a leader, throughout these fundamental years and learning experiences.
Each classroom has two to three teachers at all times, to help the children learn and grow as much as possible. Our program offers testing twice a year. To help us see what your child knows and needs to work on. We then share this data with you parents then have a parent teacher conference. We strive hard to challenge our students making education fun and exciting for them. Even through testing! We also offer Developmental Screenings: ASQ- Ages & Stages. These can be performed in the preschool or in your home. Once we collect that data if anything is concerning we connect you with the local school district to help get you to the next step. That is what we do here at Jumpstart. We help support you through the whole process. Setting up meetings, sitting in meetings, we allow observations to be done at our school to help your child get the services they need! We have tons of parent resources at our fingertips! Whether it be registering your child for kindergarten, TK, ECEAP, or behavior strategies and positive parenting. We are here for you!
Among many things we at Jumpstart offer Jumpstart parent led PTO. Where parents can meet other parents, get involved in their child's school! It's quite amazing what our PTO has done for our school. When they have fundraisers all money earned goes back to the children enrolled in Jumpstart. Whether it be school supplies, new toys indoor and outdoor, books, school parties. Our PTO continues to support our children!
Our Jumpstart parent communication is something we pride ourselves on! Each family that has a child enrolled at Jumpstart as the option to receive multiple pictures throughout the day of what there child is learning and doing. We believe in helping put parents at ease and making them feel comfortable and involved as much as possible.
Here at Jumpstart all of our staff have must have a extensive training. They must obtain First Aid/CPR and HIV/AIDS Training. All staff have continued training in curriculum, child safety, developmental milestones, positive behavior techniques, and disease control.
To get started come schedule a simple meet and greet! Your welcome to bring your child as you get a tour of the building. It's a simple thirty minutes or less meeting. I'm here to answer all your questions and concerns you may have.

Jumping around class!
Our fun and energetic jumping around class hosts the ages of 2.5 and 3.5 years old. From 8am to 10:45am -Monday through Thursday. This class loves to move! So we don’t expect them sit still! We engage in music and movement, singing and dancing. We make art a time to let there creativity soar. Please see Tuition daily price! This class is set to start for Fall 2023/2024 school year. (Class will stay the same for 2024-2025 School Year)
Leaping into class!
Our enticing you can dream it and we can build it together class. Hosts the fun ages of 3.5 to 5 years of age. Monday through Thursday. From 11am to 2pm. Here in this class we leap into the great wonders of cause and effect outcomes. We learn the ins and outs of each topic, through our small class discussions. But most of all we do hands on learning! We at Jumpstart try to aspire little scientist, paleontologist, engineers and much much more! It’s hard not to have fun in this class! Class is set to start Fall 2023/2024. Indoor play at its best!
This is a fun room where children can run, jump, climb and just have fun! We always play outside rain or shine but this room helps to offer something different that the children truly enjoy!
Fun in the sun!
Our two week summer preschool program is set to start July 8th, 2024. With our program you get two weeks of fun activities and crafts everyday! Summer time is a time of sun and fun! Children need time to run and play and enjoy themselves outside and inside. But here at Jumpstart we work in some valuable and fun learning experiences. Such as reading together, art exploration in and outdoors, playing outdoor games, water/sand/mud play in sensory bins. We explore nature at it’s finest! With pure summer fun, filled with education! All classes are Monday through Thursday! Morning class is held from 9am to 11am for the the ages of 2.5 to 3.5. Afternoon class is held from 11:15am to 1:15pm for the ages of 3.5 to 5. - Class times are subject to change if class sizes are not full we we will combine. Classes are Monday through Thursday

Schedule a classroom tour of our beautifully crafted classroom today! This is a parent and teacher meet and greet. Of course children are welcome! This can be more or less than a 15 minute meeting plus tour. Where I am available to answer all your questions. No strings attached!

Jumpstart Current Daily rate for 2023-2024 School Year $22.50 a day.
Jumpstart is moving to a flat fee per class. Starting Summer Program 2024 & Fall School Year 2024-2025
Registration Fee New Student $50/Returning Student $30

Community Grown Scholarships
Jumpstart needs your support to make a difference in a child's life tomorrow. We got an overwhelming number of applicants for Axel's paid school-year scholarship this July.
That we are calling on our great community members of Forks to help these children in need! We would like to band together with our community members to help these children! Your donation of $22 today will help send a child in need to preschool at Jumpstart for a day! Each day donated, Jumpstart will match a day!
Community Grown Scholarship Application
This scholarship covers paid days at Jumpstart Preschool. How many days depends on the donations received and days matched by Jumpstart. We will try our best to reach as many families as possible, and to try help them in their time of need!
Axel's Scholarship
Hello everyone I am the owner of this wonderful perschool, Jumpstart. I would like to offer Axel's second annual scholarship! Which is a full year paid tuition to a child in our community! This scholarship is something that I hold very dear to my heart. It is set up with one goal in mind. To help a child in need and to honor the memory of a very special boy, Axel Ungs. A boy who past to soon before he could embark on the curious and exciting journey of preschool. I ask that family's that are interested in this scholarship to please apply. This scholarship is for chidren between the ages of 2.5 to 5 years old. The scholarship is for two days a week-up to four hours a day.
Hola a todos, soy el propietario de esta maravillosa escuela preescolar, Jumpstart. ¡Me gustaría ofrecer la segunda beca anual de Axel! ¡Que es un año completo de matrícula pagada a un niño en nuestra comunidad! Esta beca es algo que tengo muy querido en mi corazón. Está configurado con un objetivo en mente. Para ayudar a un niño necesitado y honrar la memoria de un niño muy especial, Axel Ungs. Un niño que falleció poco antes de poder embarcarse en el curioso y emocionante viaje del preescolar. Les pido a las familias que estén interesadas en esta beca que presenten su solicitud.
